The Governing Body
The school is supported by an enthusiastic and hard-working Governing Body who take an active interest in the work and development of the school. The governing body has 13 members and meets as a full group at least twice each term. The Governing Body has organised some of its work to be carried by one of 2 Committees – the Curriculum and Standards Committee and the Staffing and Resources Committee - which meet each term to support the Headteacher in the leadership and management of the school.
In addition to their responsibility for the strategic development of the school, Governors take a keen interest in the day to day working of the school and visit as regularly as they can with a number of governors having a specific link responsibility to a phase, need or area of the curriculum. Governors attend some staff meetings and training days.

The Governors provide an annual report to parents which is presented to parents and carers at the summer term Open Evening. The Governors' Annual Report describes the work that the Governors have undertaken during the year and highlights key actions and decisions that the Governors have taken. A copy of the most recent Governors report can be downloaded here.
Copies of reports from previous years are available on request from the school office.
