Salary - Teachers Main Scale (22,467 to £32,834) plus SEN Point 1 value £2,085

 

We are looking to recruit a full time classroom teacher from the 1st September 2017, on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2018 at 30 hours per week.

Grade 4 Level 1-4, £16,793 to £18,295 per annum (reduced pro rata)

34 hours 40 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3.35pm (less 35 minutes for lunch) plus 55 minutes extra on a Wednesday for training

 

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant, Level 2, to provide support to our students who are based in our Orchard Class at Manor CE Academy.

 

Our students spend time as a cohesive group with regular opportunities to be included in the mainstream provision at the Academy. Candidates will be required to work across the school.

  • be a child centered professional who has successful experience of working with children with a wide range of special educational need
  • Be committed to helping our students achieve the very best and become as independent as possible
  • Be able to provide effective support for the development of the students' communication
  • Be able to develop strong relationships to support the development of the students' personal and social independence skills
  • Support students with their personal care and welfare needs
  • Be confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviours
  • Be a strong advocate of inclusion
  • Be confidents to accept responsibility and work independently, able to demonstrate initiative and have flexible attitude to the challenging demands of working with children and young people with additional and complex needs
  • Be able to work collaboratively

SUPPORT WORKERS - 2 POSTS

We are seeking to recruit two part-time Support Workers to join our multi-professional team.

 

The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and committed to providing the best opportunities for our pupils.

 

Support Workers are important members of the staff team, their duties include:

  • Supporting pupils with toileting and hygiene programmes
  • Preparing the dining hall for lunch
  • Supervising and assisting pupils during the lunch period
  • Assisting pupils with dressing and undressing e.g. before and after PE or Hydrotherapy sessions
  • Developing and supervising play and social opportunities for pupils during break time and after lunch period
  • Supporting teaching and learning
